Andie Dikosavljevic takes Hong Kong Slam women’s singles gold over Castillo

Andie Dikosavljevic is the Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam women’s singles champion.

On Sunday 25 October at Kai Tak Arena / PICKLETOWN, Dikosavljevic beat Judit Castillo 11-1, 11-5 in the Pro Women’s Singles final of the Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam — a rematch of last week’s Australian Pickleball Cup gold match, and the final stop of PPA Tour Asia for 2026.

The final

Dikosavljevic took the opener in a rush — 11-1 — then closed the second 11-5 for straight-sets Slam gold.

Rematch, different Sunday

PPA had billed Championship Sunday as an instant replay. Dikosavljevic won the Cup final Down Under a week ago; Castillo came to Kai Tak for another shot. This time the Slam title stayed with Dikosavljevic.

Women’s Doubles gold had already gone earlier on the same court: Anna Bright / Anna Leigh Waters beat Tyra Hurricane Black / Jorja Johnson 11-6, 11-4.

Path to the final

Dikosavljevic swept Sahra Dennehy in the semis 11-1, 11-3 — ending Dennehy’s dragon-medal push — after beating Chao Yi Wang 11-8, 11-6 in the quarters.

Castillo beat Kiora Kunimoto 11-8, 11-7 in the semis, and had edged Kaitlyn Christian in a three-game quarterfinal (11-9, 5-11, 12-10).
