PICKLETOWN at Kai Tak: the free fan zone guide for the Hong Kong Slam
You do not need a match ticket to soak up Slam week. PICKLETOWN — the free-admission fan zone at Kai Tak Arena — runs through 25 October with booths, merch and player meet-and-greets.

Want the Slam atmosphere without buying a seat? Head to PICKLETOWN.
The Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam (19–25 October at Kai Tak Arena) has a dedicated free-admission fan zone. Organisers call it PICKLETOWN: themed booths, official merchandise, gear displays, and planned autograph / meet-and-greet sessions with pros. Local event site PPA Pickleball HK and PPA Tour Asia both describe it as open to the public for the week.
Free vs paid: what you get
| Access | What it covers (per official ticket notes) |
| --- | --- |
| PICKLETOWN (free) | Fan zone only — booths, merch, activities, meet-and-greets. Not a substitute for court tickets. |
| General Admission standing (HK$180) | GA areas in the Arena and Academy. No assigned seat; does not include Championship Court (CC) or Grandstand (GS) matches. |
| CC / GS reserved (midweek HK$580) | Seated access to Championship Court and Grandstand courts (19–23 Oct). GA areas not included. |
| CC reserved weekend (HK$980) | Championship Court seating for 24–25 Oct (finals weekend). |
Prices are listed on the tournament details page and exclude a HK$35 customer service fee per ticket via HK Ticketing. Ticket holders may redeem one complimentary official souvenir at the merch booth on event day while stocks last.
In short: PICKLETOWN is the free layer; paid tickets are for watching the matches themselves. Standing tickets get you into the wider GA match areas; reserved tickets put you on the headline courts.
When to go
The Slam runs Monday 19 through Sunday 25 October 2026. Qualifying opened the week; main-draw rounds step up each day toward Championship Sunday. PICKLETOWN is framed as a week-long fan hub alongside that schedule — useful if you are bringing kids, meeting friends between matches, or just browsing paddles and merch.
Exact booth hours and which players appear for autographs can shift day to day. Check ppapickleballhk.com and ppatour-asia.com on the morning you visit.
Practical tips
- No ticket required for the free fan zone itself.
- Bring a bag for merch; official souvenirs for ticket holders are while stocks last.
- If you later decide to watch a match, buy via HK Ticketing — GA standing remains the cheapest paid option at HK$180 before the fee.
- Championship Court livestreams are also on the PPA Tour Asia YouTube channel if you cannot get in.
